Check back from time to time.
We'll post pictures throughout the year of our pilot program here!
Ms. Severs entered all of the laptops into the Media Center's computer so that each invidivual laptop will be checked out to a student.
The laptops and bags were labeled and then placed around the Media Center in alphabetical order. This morning (8/24) Ms. Severs and Mr. Asher grouped the laptops according to the 1st block rosters of 6th grade teachers. |
Pictured above: Two classroom sets of laptops.
The laptops were grouped by rosters of 1st Block 6th grade teachers. Once all of the class sets together, Ms. Severs and Mr. Asher made last minute changes (since the computers were assigned to students a few weeks before school opened). They "returned" the computers assigned to students who no longer attend BMS, and they "checked out" computers for the students who are new to BMS.

When can students take their laptops home?
As of Monday, 9/9, students can take their laptops home -- as long as the following conditions are met: 1) The parent has attended one of our 1:1 informational meetings -- OR -- the parent completed our online training on this site (HERE). 2) Both required forms have been signed & returned: the Acceptable Use of Technology form and the Agreement of Responsible Use (found HERE). Pictured at the right: Yellow zip-ties will be attached to laptop bag handles to indicate if/when a student can take his/her laptop home. |
